SCHOOL PROCEDURES FOR ADMISSIONS

Parents interested in applying for a place at St Nicholas CE (VC) First School or transferring from  another school are invited to contact the school office to arrange either a visit to look around or request a prospectus to be sent out. 

If parents do decide to apply for a place, a school registration form should be completed in the first instance and returned to the school office together their child's birth certificate and a proof of residence.   Please click to download this registration form. 

Details from the registration form are entered into the Admissions section of our School Information Management System which enable school to send the appropriate "Admission to Nursery/Primary School" Information pack to parents of pre-school children when they are eligible to apply for places.   (See below)

There is a co-ordinated scheme for Admissions to Schools in Staffordshire operated by the Schools Admissions and Transport Service of Staffordshire County Council.  Guidance on how to make an online application and access to the online service can be found at:-

IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT THE ADMISSION PROCESS FOR ENTRY TO STAFFORDSHIRE SCHOOLS IN SEPTEMBER 2010

Secondary School applications can be made between 14th September and 30th October 2009
(Packs will be distributed to pupils in Year 4)

Primary School applications can be made between 19th October and 11th December 2009
(Packs will be distributed to pupils currently attending our Nursery and to all parents who have registered)

Nursery School applications can be made between February and March 2010
