NSPCC Assembly suitable for Y4

NSPCC Speak out Stay safe assemblies have taken place in more than 90% of all primary schools across the UK and Channel Islands, giving children the knowledge they need to stay safe from harm and to speak out if they're worried. While we aren't able to run the assemblies as normal right now, Friday June 5, we'll be hosting our very own virtual Speak out Stay safe assembly alongside some special guests.

Ant and Dec, David Walliams and the Minister for Children and Families, Vicky Ford MP, from the Department for Education, will be joining us to help make the assembly a success. The DfE will also promote the assembly beforehand to ensure we reach as many people as possible.

The content of the assembly will be aimed at children aged 7-11 years old (KS2) and will focus on anxiety, including the worries that children are facing right now, why they may feel anxious or worried and ways they can be supported, for example reaching out to a trusted adult or calling Childline.

The assembly will be shared on the NSPCC Facebook pageour Facebook page on Friday 5 June from 9:30am so make sure you tune in and spread the word about it among friends, family or any teachers that you know.  We will be promoting across NSPCC socials through the week, our first posts went live yesterday evening on FacebookTwitterInstagram and LinkedIn.
